With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Wallace Joseph Begnaud in Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on December 19, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Begnaud; his parents, Martha Begnaud and Walter Begnaud; and his friend Jean Carrier. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne M. Leach (Raymond) of Ragley, Julie Fruge (Burchman, Jr.) of Lake Charles, Diana Thibodeaux (Danny) of Benton, AK and Virginia Dale Begnaud of Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Theresa Broussard Hearn, Charles Broussard, Trey Fruge, Crystal Masters and Dana McCuller. He is also survived by eight step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
