She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Allbritton and Marion Ganey Allbritton. She is survived by : her husband Dr. James Phillip Gaharan; her son James Gaharan; her grandchildren, Alyson Gaharan of Alexandria, Virginia, Steele Koonce of Lake Charles and Madelyn Geisz (Joe) of Fort Collins, CO; and her siblings, Ron Allbritton (Robin) of Fountain Inn, SC, Clyde Allbritton (Judy) of Jena, LA and Vanessa Allbrittion (Amy) of Jena. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family has suggested that donations be made to the International Board of Missions or the American Cancer Society.
