She was predeceased by: her husband Estine James "Jim" Couvillion; her sons, Chuck and Bobby Couvillion; and her parents, Fulton Lemoine and Dessie Mae Lemoine.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Couvillion (Sandy), Rebecca "Becky" Simon (Tim) and Joey Couvillion (Phyllis); her sisters, Janice Viverata, Linda Juneau (Ronnie) and Debbie Martin (Paul); her sisters-in-law, Nancy Brown and Kellie Couvillion; her grandchildren, Reyhana Couvillion (Leslie Doyle), Douglas Couvillion (Lindsey), Chelsea Couvillion, Chris Couvillion (Jennifer), Matt Couvillion (Ashley), Barbie Brown, Courtney Locklin (Matt) and Caleb Couvillion (Sierra); her great grandchildren, Chloe, Baylee, Lainee, Camden, Kaiden, Jaziah, Zayden, Kinsley, Mason, Jase and Jaden; and her great great grandchild Kinsley.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (3939 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM at the Consolata Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
