With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearlie Guidon of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Bonita, Louisiana, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy "Sam" Harris and Minnie Hodge Harris; her husband Gidon; her children, Larry Guiton Sr., Clayton Gidon and Donna Gidon-Bryant; and her siblings, Odis, Fred, Leroy, Edward Harris and Martha Hobbs.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Demishia Bryant (Jonathan Burns) of Lavergne, Tenn, Larry Guiton (Shaneka Jones) of Lake Charles, Dominique Bryant (Amy) of Lavergne, Amanda Guiton of Westlake, Theresa Guiton of Westlake, Clayton Wayne Rideaux of Houston, Terrance Brignac of Houston and Denashia Babineaux (Quincy Young) of Lafayette; her siblings, Ross Harris of Sacramento, Clinton Harris of Wilmot and Tinest Harris of Chicago, Ill.; and her great grandchild Larry Donnell Guiton III. She is also survived by great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
