As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peggy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Telesphore Morvant and Elda Galley Morvant; and her grandson Jayden Whittington. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Whittington; her children, Desiree Brooks (Earl), Bryan Whittington (Sara), Hallie Whittington and Garrett Whittington (Nicole); and her sisters, Katrina Mallett, Gloria Goodrich and Serena Leslie. She is also survived by twelve loving grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (340 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
