He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert J. Caswell and Lelia Boone Caswell; his step-mother Lovina Caswell (Tootsie); his siblings, Belle Miller Blackwell, Mae Mills, Lela Caswell, Vinnie Ann Richard, Joe, Michael and Ricky Caswell; and his pet Precious.

He is survived by : his wife Lila Dee Ray Caswell; his children, Theresa Thompson (Leon), Tina Northcutt (Mike), Katrina Caswell and Robert Caswell (Gay); his grandchildren, Michael Northcutt (Leyna), Justin Northcutt (Laura), Garrett Thompson (Ashlie) and Jessica Caswell; his siblings, Vida Lee McFarlain, Bud Caswell, James Caswell, Billy Caswell and Brenda Stenseth; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 25th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the University Baptist Church (4505 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude's Children's s hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
