She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy Lee Davis Rankins; her stepfather Edward Rankins; her aunts, Carrie and Irma; her stepmother Patsy; her brothers, Ronnie Rankins and Ervin Rankins; and her adoptive son Brackus Guillory.
She is survived by: her father Frank Eugene of Chicago, IL; her husband Michael Berard, Sr.; her children, Michael Berard, Jr., Timothy Berard, Sr., Bradley Berard (Pamela), Kendra Trail (Shadmon), Brandy Berard Collins and Qwendolyn Brooks; her siblings, Roxanne Rankins, Deborah Gasaway and Mark Eugene; and her godchildren, Paula Peltier, Hope Ned and Michael Lemelle. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
