Sherman J. Solari Jr. Obituary

We bid farewell to Sherman J. Solari Jr. (Lake Charles, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 10, 2025 at the age of 97. Sherman touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Bertrand Solari; his parents, Anita Breaux Solari and Sherman J. Solari, Sr.; and his siblings, Audrey, Archie and Jimmy Solari.

He is survived by: his children, Mike (Kim), Tom (Elaine) and Suzy; his grandchildren, Chris (Casey), Ben (Kara), Scott (Courtney), Caroline (Scott) and William; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Stella, Teddy and Patrick; his in-laws, Louise Solari, Phyllis Solari, Glenda Manuel (Norman) and Delores Stagg; and his caregiver Sylvia Matthis.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception (935 Bilbo St, Lake Charles, LA 70602).
