He was predeceased by : his parents, Alice Irvin Murphy and Milton Murphy; and his siblings, Eliza Murphy Jimerson (Herman), Asilee Murphy Smith (Elisha), Freddie Murphy and Haƫtie Mae Murphy.
He is survived by : his sister Valena Vernestine Murphy Ray of Mission Hills; and his close friends, Consewilla Reed and Pam Henderson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many grateful co-workers, students, and friends.
Due to dangers associated with Covid 19 and the deadly Delta variant, MASKS ARE REQUIRED at both the funeral service and the visitation.
