He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Valure and Nancy Burregi Valure; and his parents-in-law, EJ and Zola Martin. He is survived by: his wife Tanya Martin Valure; his children, Jason Valure (Becky), Richie Vial, Elzey Vial, Jennifer Valure and Addie Melancon; his grandchildren, Mason Valure, Maguire Valure, Alexander Melancon, Mackenzie Valure, Gianna Byntli Valure, Aubrey Melancon and Gigi Vial; and his pet Esta Anne.
In lieu of flowers, masses in his honor are preferred.
