It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Joseph Sanchez of Laplace, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Emily Weber Sanchez; his daughter Kathryn Joan Sanchez; and his parents, Marie Malarcher Sanchez and Joseph J. Sanchez. He is survived by : his children, Marilyn Marie Summerhalter (Donald), Neil Andrew Sanchez (Bobbi) and Cynthia Denise "Cindy" Jenkins (Terry); his grandchildren, Mark Anthony Babin (Stephanie), Daniel Paul Babin (Amanda) and Sarah Marie Shinpoch (Alex); his great grandchild Emma Marie Babin; and his siblings, Carol Smith, Joe Sanchez, Jerry Sanchez (Margie Smith) and Joyce Steadman (Jimmy Sanchez). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
