He was predeceased by : his former life partner Anita Ellen Shelton Prevost; his daughter Penny Prevost O'Neill; his son-in-law Harold O'Neill; his grandson Wesley Prevost; his daughter-in-law Barbara Chandler Prevost; his wife Betty Wainwright Amacker Prevost; his parents, Fred Prevost and Grace Prevost; and his siblings, Brit, Floyd, Mack, Ernest, Clarence, Marvin, Aubrey, Raymond, Gladys, Genevieve, Bonnie, Faye, Nellie, Anna and Dorothy.

He is survived by : his children, Gaylan (Debbie), Gary (Olivia), Jess (Eliska), Leon (Wendy), Danny "Bull" (Keeli) and Brenda Lipscomb (Robbie); his brother Ken Prevost; and his stepchildren, Bobby, Mike, Jamie Amacker, Tilly DiMaggio, Beverly Herrington, Nessie Harper, Jessie Huguet and Penny McAlister.
