He was predeceased by : his father Ruben Arevalo Sr.; his brothers, Albert Arevalo and Joseph Arevalo; and his nephew Aaron Arevalo. He is survived by : his wife Della Arevalo; his children, Gilbert Arevalo, Jr. and Amanda Arevalo Martin (Blake); his mother Florence Segovia Arevalo; and his siblings, Ruben Arevalo Jr. (Carol) and Mary Ann McKinney (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
