He is survived by : his children, Jonathan Ard (Susan) of Chico, Janet A. Hammons of Chesbrough, Randolph Ard of Loranger, Johanna A. Austin of Oakvale and Jared Ard of Loranger; his sister Delores A.; his brother-in-law Emmett Smith of Baton Rouge; his close friend Shirley Hingle of Franklinton; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Patrick, David, Randy, Christina, Caitlin, Jacob, Jared, Troy and Zack. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
