With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Brown of Loranger, Louisiana, born in Empire, Louisiana, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Dorsey Brown Jr. and Doretha T. Scott; her husband Charles Brennon; and her siblings, Joel C. Brown (Audrey) and Martinez Brown.
She is survived by : her son Charles B. Brennon (Sydney); her stepfather Robert L. Scott; her siblings, James M. Brown (Marzella Brown), Seymone Martinez, Maurtice Williams and Spartical Brown; her friends, Dorothy Mae Riley, Joyce Denet, Genia Martin, Vanessa Williams and Karin Fae; and her sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Young, Mae St. Ann, Sharon Chambers, Dobbietta Lacey and Amanda Scott. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The limited visitation will begin at 10A. M. Bishop Wilfret Johnson pastor of the Oakville Missionary Baptist Church officiating, and interment will be private. Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering, and practice social distancing.
