He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Monica and Mary Monica; his brother Ronald Monica; and his pet Tinkerbell. He is survived by : his wife Argie DeArmond Monica; his children, Roy Monica, Mimi Denova and Brian Taylor; his nieces, Ann and Mary; his pets, Annie and Buttons; and also Betty Simoneaux.
