He was predeceased by : his father Jesse Claude Gardner Sr.; and his brother-in-law Michael J. Noto. He is survived by : his mother Ruthie Mae Rogers Gardner; his wife Michelle Noto Gardner; his sons, Samuel Blaine Gardner (Tina) and Ian Joseph Gardner; his siblings, Ruth Ann Damare' (Joe), Billy Gardner (Ashley) and Casey Gardner (Janie); his brother-in-law Christian Nixon; and also Jesse.

During the Covid pandemic, Jesse discovered a hidden talent he never knew he had – drawing.
