She was predeceased by : her parents, George Grashoff and Cecilia Grashoff; her husband George J. Strassel; and her sisters, Josephine, Genieve and Cecilia.

She is survived by : her daughter JoAnn Strassel Hamburger; and her grandsons, Adam J. Hamburger (Lindsay) and Justin G. Hamburger. She is also survived by husband, family and friends.
