It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Miller (Mamou, Louisiana), born in Merryville, Louisiana, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Miller and Ruby Alston Miller; his wife Clarice Deville Miller; his son David Scott Miller; his sister Helen Stracener; and his close friend Carol Berzas.
He is survived by: his children, Catina Miller Deshotel (Shannon Richard) of Pine Prairie and Derick D. Miller of Oakdale; his siblings, Ralph Dykman (Beaulah) of DeRidder and Addie Ortiz of Rosepine; and his grandchildren, Cade Sittig (Emily), Tyler Gautreaux, Catrina Richardson (Kyle), Shane Dickens, Christina Dickens, Malena Miller, Huey Woods and Scott Miller. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
