It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Edward Calkins (Mandeville, Louisiana), who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Deacon Richard W. Calkins (June) and Cheryl Calkins; and his parents, Joseph Gay Calkins, III and Dolores Calkins (Becker). He is survived by: his niece Lauren; his nephew Patrick; his wife Mary Calkins (Voelker); his son Chris Calkins; and his siblings, Kathleen Calkins Berault (Warren) and Ronald L. Calkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Dennis may be made to Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
