She was predeceased by: her husband Sammy Ponthier; her son Eugene Ponthier; her parents, Webers Normand and Lola Normand; her grandson Todd Dauzat; and her siblings, Della Guillot, Louella Guidry, Irene Dupuis, Alton Normand, Daniel Normand, Richard Normand and Robert Normand.
She is survived by: her children, Lola Ponthier Dauzat of Brouillette, Thomas Ponthier of New Orleans and Gary Ponthier of Mansura; and her sister Ruth Juneau. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
