She was predeceased by: her husband Richard P. Tassin; her parents, Joseph Yennie and Mable Yennie; and her siblings, Henry Yennie, Bernice Gauthier and Josette Guillory.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Swindler of Duson, Donald Tassin of Mansura and Ronald Tassin of Mansura; and her grandchildren, Shannon Laborde, Tara Pesnell, Lindsey Gagnard, Clay Swindler, Brandy Tassin, Brooke Bordelon and Tate Tassin.
