He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Murray of Mansura; his children, Stephanie Murray Wright, Deborah Murray, Morris Murray, Jr. and Andrea Murray; and his grandchildren, Jamilla Timothy (Quincy), Jarvis Wright (Cindy Devins), Tyrone Murray, Tra and Von Wright. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
