He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton, Sr. Fontenot and Corine Lavalais Fontenot; and his siblings, Clifton Fontenot, Jr., Donald Fontenot, Mary Cecilia Moreau, Elizabeth Wright, Joanna McGee and Shirley Ann Cadoree.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Fontenot of Mansura; and his children, Kim Fontenot Sampson of Mansura and Nevelle Fontenot of Mansura. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, five step grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
