It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenn Dowden of Many, Louisiana, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Grady Dowden and Edith Young Dowden; his brother James "Jimmy" Dowden; and his grandson Jude Matthew Gentry. He is survived by : his wife Janet Cook Dowden of Many, LA; his children, Dr. Luke Dowden (Amy) of San Antonio, TX and Elizabeth Gentry (Shawn) of Shreveport, LA; his sisters, Sybil Brown of Campti, LA, Carrie Delrie of Bossier City, LA, Margaret Dobson of Jamestown, LA and Florence Johnson of Campti, LA; and his grandchildren, Gabe Dowden, Issac Dowden, Henry Dowden, Jace Gentry, Eden Gentry and Embree Gentry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Mr. Dowden's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Sabine Humane Society.
