He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah A. Owers; his parents, Robert Lee Owers and Mary Mae Owers (Marcus); and his sister Mattie M. Martin. He is survived by: his son Terry Owers of Greenville, SC; his brother Robert A. Owers of Hemphill, TX; his grandchildren, Terry M. Owers II, Daphne M. Crosby (Joe) and Robyn L. Owers; his great grandchildren, Alisha and Joey; and his close friend Merrill Cummings. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
