He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilson Desselles, Sr. and Adlice Dauzat Desselles; his children, Bruce Desselles and Donna Desselles; his brother Wilson Desselles, Jr.; and his granddaughter Morgan Jeansonne.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Michot Desselles; and his children, Ronald Desselles of Hickory Hill, Troy Desselles of Marksville, Kent Desselles of Marksville, Shane Desselles of Marksville, Linda Lacombe of Bunkie, Sharleen Jeansonne of Mansura and Renee Daigrepont of Hickory Hill.
