She was predeceased by : her husband Edward Fontenot; her parents, Charles Kelone and Sepher Bordelon Kelone; her brother Charles Gene Kelone; her grandchildren, Izzabella Lynn Wilson and Dale Paul Fontenot; and her son-in-law Michael Guillory.
She is survived by : her children, Johnny Fontenot (Debra), Clyde Fontenot (Juliet), Dale Fontenot (Mona), Glenda Courville (Clinton), Marilyn Villemarette (Michael), Pam Guillory, Patricia Lacombe (Ricky McNeal) and Donna Fontenot. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 80 great grandchildren; and 26 great great grandchildren.
