Rode in horse shows throughout the New Orleans & surrounding Parishes areas as a GAMES CONTESTANT & was, by far, the WINNINGEST in the game at the time. Also dabbled in Rodeo, & was the ? 1966 ? H/S La. State Steer Wrestling Champion. Skin was also a founding member of the Circle K Drill & later Bar J Drill Teams. Last, but not least, he was a proud Veteran of the U.S.Army & served for 18 months in Vietnam .”
