We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 83, Bennie Bush Jr. of Marrero, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Bush, Jr. and Juanita Bush; and his siblings, Betty B. Williams, Mary L. Armstead, Deanna Bush Williams, Darlene Walters, Elain Bush, Edward Bush and Darnell Bush.
He is survived by: his siblings, Celestine B. Thomas, Barbara Bush Diggs, Brenda Small, Stanley, Janice, Mary Lee, Nell, Gwen, Anna Bell and Gail Bush. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary-Gretna (230 Monroe St, Gretna, LA 70053). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (230 Monroe St, Gretna, LA 70053). FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
