It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jessie Harry of Marrero, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Kevin Harry; her parents, Luke Brown, Sr. and Erma Jessie Gaines; her siblings, Willie Anna Veal, Orinetta G. Common, Gregory Gaines, Sr. and Luke Brown, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Lois Brown.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Sonya W. Gaines. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
