She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Davis "Black" Abadie Sr.; her son Todd A. Abadie; her grandson Brandon Matherne (January); her siblings, Earline Fayard, David Fayard, Rene Fayard, Gloria Breaux and Barbara Fayard; and her parents, Dave James Fayard and Evelyn Marie Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Davis Abadie Jr. (Roxanne), Darlene A. Boudreaux (Arthur), Holly Gonzalez (Brian) and Brandi A. Gautreaux (Charles Jr.); her grandchildren, Cory Boudreaux (Jennie), Corey Abadie, Jerad Moffitt (Kayla), Kayla Landry (Ryan), Fabian Woods, Baylie Blanchard, Noah Abadie, Ashton Russell and Addyson Gonzalez; and her sister Carolyn Elledge (James). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
