With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Phillip Cooper of Marrero, Louisiana, born in Vacherie, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Junius J. Cooper and Amelia Harrison Cooper; his grandparents, Wallace Cooper, Evelie Adam Cooper, Morris Harrison and Izetta Butler Harrison; and his brother Clifford Cooper.

He is survived by : his children, Loren Cooper, Brian Cooper (Venice), Tracy Jasmin (Clement) and Darren Johnson (Pamela); his siblings, Jackie Cooper, Sr., Morris Cooper, Sr. (Alriner), Joseph Cooper, Lydia Small, Jennifer Baker of Euless, TX and Evelie C. Wilson; and also Gwendolyn Weber Cooper. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A private funeral service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 10:00 AM. DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC ATTENDANCE WILL BE LIMITED. IT IS MANDATORY EVERYONE ATTENDING WEAR A FACE MASK OR SOME TYPE OF FACE COVERING.
