In the sacred silence of farewell, Sam is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Bailey, Jr. and Willie Dean Chess Bailey; and his brother Bernard Foley. He is survived by: his children, Sam IV and Samreail Bailey; his grandchildren, Sam V, Marc, Imanie and Avery; and his siblings, Vanessa Bailey King, LaToya Bailey Williams (Michael, Sr.) and Michael Foley (Rachelle). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carissa Venue (111 Wright Ave b, Terrytown, LA 70056).
