It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Urbin Paul Rivet Jr. (Marrero, Louisiana), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Urbin Paul Rivet Sr. and Conjetta Domilise Rivet; his sisters, June Borgstede and Catherine Winstine; and his brother-in-law Harold DeShazo Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Rita DeShazo Rivet.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marrero - Mothe Funeral Homes (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Lakelawn Park Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).

In lieu of flowers, donations to offset medical expenses would be appreciated.
