With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Polotzola Jr. (Melville, Louisiana), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Polotzola and Lucy Clark Polotzola; his brother Anthony "Man" Polotzola; and his parents-in-law, Charlie Kimble and Jeanette Couvillion Kimble.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Kimble Polotzola of Bayou Current; his sons, Ryan Polotzola (Halli) of Garland and Christopher Polotzola (Jessica) of Bayou Current; his grandchildren, Emily, Kate, Hayden, Layton, Paisley and Emersyn; his brothers, Xavier Donald Polotzola (Theresa) of Bayou Current and Carl Joseph Polotzola (Barbara) of Brusly; and his sister-in-law Juanita Polotzola of Lettsworth. He is also survived by extended family, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home (607 1st St, Melville, LA 71353). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. John Catholic Church (318 1st St, Melville, LA 71353).
