It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ambrose Leo Michiels Jr. of Metairie, Louisiana, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Earline Michiels; and his parents, Myrtle Michiels, and Ambrose Michiels, Sr.. He is survived by : his sons, Mark Michiels (Melissa) and Adam Michiels (Marcy); his grandchildren, Cassandra and Zachary Michiels; his siblings, Shirley Warfel and Philip Michiels; his nieces and nephews, Gwen Riviere, Gail Landry, Aimee Gates, Brandi Allen, Adrieanne Doiron, Bethany Haywood and Gretchen Vasquez; and his cousin Russell Michiels. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
