It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Marty Guidry of Metairie, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice George Guidry; her parents, Hazel Bardy Marty and Henry Marty; her sibling Merrill Marty; and her mother-in-law Pauline Guidry.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Guidry Horton (late Fred Horton), Stanley George Guidry (Robyn) and Glenn Maurice Guidry (Patrice); her grandchildren, Angela Horton Kelly (Richard), Janet L. Horton, Scott G. Guidry (Tanya), Troy M. Guidry (Ashley), Ginger Guidry VanGeffen (Jordan), Grant E. Guidry, Tracey Guidry Martinez (Alex), Eric G. Guidry (Allison), Dominique Guidry, Joelle Guidry McDermott (Tim) and Gregory Guidry; her great grandchildren, Erica Kelly Tran (Michael), Alyssa Kelly, Sara Guidry, Beaux Guidry, Kayla Martinez, Ryan Martinez, Brennan Guidry and Avery Guidry; her great great grandchildren, Benjamin Tran and Joshua Tran; her siblings, Roy Marty, Raymond Marty, Irma Lee Marty and Estelle Marty Lloyd; her father-in-law Ernest Guidry; and her niece Darlene Marty Bonura (Joseph). She is also survived by her daughter, along with many nieces and nephews.
