Francis Bernard Fazzio Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis Bernard Fazzio (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne Wood Fazzio; his parents, Joe Fazzio and Grace Fazzio; and his brother Bernard Fazzio. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Fazzio; his children, Joe Fazzio, Leslie Bird and Mimi Fornaris (Chip); his grandchildren, Kevin Bird, Chad Bird, Blake Bird, Maddie Saliba (Anthony), Jill Fornaris and Annie Fornaris; his great grandchild Sage Saliba; his stepchildren, Sheri Morris (Norman) and Steven Marcus (Lori); his stepgrandchildren, Maurie Morris, Patrick Marcus, Megan Marcus and Julia Marcus; and his sister JoAnn Mueller.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (444 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70005). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Fazzio may be made to the Bridge House/Grace House.
