He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. McGinity and Rose Laurie McGinity; and his children, Michelle and James P. "Lil'Jimmy". He is survived by: his wife Melinda Mueller; his daughters, Colleen and Meghan; and his sisters, Janie Rose and Cynthia Hare (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
