He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Yochim Holmes Poche'; and his parents, John Poche Jr. and Myrtle Ketchum Poche. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Quant (David) and Kelley Wells (John); his grandchildren, Lindsay Quant Darden (James), Leah Quant Johnson (Chase), Erin Quant Hyde (Will), Kerri Wells, Megan Wells, Janey Wells and Ryan Wells; his great grandchildren, Sam, Luke Darden, Holly, Macy and Jane Johnson; his siblings, Gerry Poche' (Carol), Beverly Chapoton (Louis) and Sister Ellen Poche; and his daughter Diane Dupuy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans, where he volunteered his time.
