We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Joy Weathersby Riedie (Metairie, Louisiana) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy Weathersby Riedie to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Teasley Weathersby and Ernest L. Weathersby of Copiah County, Mississippi.; her daughters, Sharon Ann Kenmure and Terri Lynn Clark; her grandson Ralph Kenmure (R. J.); and her siblings, Effie Oaks, Cecil Weathersby, Inez Clark, Jake Weathersby, Ernestine Elkins and Joann McCann.

She is survived by : her sons, Albert Clark (Bo) and Dwight Clark; her grandsons, Dwight (D. J.), Bryce and Jason Clark; her daughter-in-law Cindy R. Clark; and her great grandchild Freyja J. Clark. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
