With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Gay Landry Catoire in Kenner, Louisiana, born in Reserve, Louisiana, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Joseph Catoire; her son Eric James Catoire; her siblings, Mickey Landry (Marion), Ronald Landry, Robert Landry (Irma), Richard Landry and Leatrice Luminais (Carlton); and her brother-in-law Monty Montegut.

She is survived by: her children, Douglas Joseph Catoire and Charlotte Catoire Calico (David); her grandchildren, Erica Stubbs (Bryan), Melissa Stigler (Matthew), Jessica Catoire, Vanessa Moskau (Tim), Abigail Calico, Benjamin Calico (Shyla) and Eyan Calico; her great grandchildren, Payton Stubbs, Ashton, Carson Stigler, Olivia and Landry Moskau; and her siblings, Sylvia Simoneaux (Moise), Sybil Montegut, Roy Landry (Pat) and Irene Moore (Glen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of her family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
