She was predeceased by : her parents, Winifred Flanagan (Stiegler) and James Thomas Flanagan. She is survived by : her husband Randy Scott Harvey of Columbia, MS; her children, Erin Calcagno (Ronald) of Metairie, Meaghan Tower (Adam) of Dutchtown and James Harvey of Metairie; her grandchildren, Leah, Ethan Calcagno, Mailee and Keaton Tower; and her siblings, Sister Anne Flanagan, Jane Jarosz (James) of Metairie, Harold Flanagan (Genie) of Metairie, Thomas Flanagan (April) of New Orleans, Lea Ann Durand (Robert) of Austin and Nell Aucoin (Preston) of Lafayette. She is also survived by friends and coworkers.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Clement of Rome Church (4317 Richland Ave, Metairie, LA 70002). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Masses offered for Mary Kay, or donations in her memory to her favorite charities: Daughters of St. Paul; the Salvation Army; The Chosen TV series.
