She was loved and cherished by many people including : her daughter Sharon Sterling (Sam); her daughter-in-law Charlene Howard; her sisters, Audrey Lackings (James), Patricia Scott and Mary Harris; her sister-in-law Angelina Harris; her cousins, Dora Hansberry, Delores Howard and Joseph; her grandfather Tadlock; her godsons, Frederick Hansberry, Jessie Clark and Keyon Robair; her children, Irvin, Brenda, Thomas Sterling, Linda Jones and Lillian Rand (Leonard); her parents, Arthur Harris and Lillian Harris; her grandmother Louise Shiloh; her siblings, Junie, Robert Harris, Ledell Chew, John Harris, Mae Elma Harris and Joyce Blackwell; and her grandchildren, Erica Jones, Roslyn Williams, Irvin Jones, Earl Williams, Walter Sterling, John Welch and Grant Jones. She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, sixty five great grandchildren and fifty four great-great grandchildren.
