He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Taboney La Borde; his children, Michael H. La Borde, Gary J. La Borde (Cheryl) and Bonnie La Borde Johnson (Jules); his grandchildren, Ryan Johnson (Rosa), Randy Johnson, Phillip La Borde (Ann Marie), Patrick La Borde, Kacie La Borde, Brittanie La Borde and Jessica Schilling (George); his great grandchildren, Sofia Munoz, Ashton Munoz Jr., Abigail Schilling, Noah Schilling, Hailey La Borde and Rylie Johnson; his sister-in-law June Guidry; and his brother La Borde. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the National Shrine (4940 Meadowdale St, Metairie, LA 70006). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
