He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Serio and Marie Paternostro Serio; and his sister Frances S. Savoie. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Carollo Serio; his daughters, Susan S. Miller (Mit) and Sharon S. Hamburger (Arthur); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Hamburger (Monique), Melissa van der Meulen (Ashley), Chris Hamburger (Laura) and Melanie Miller; and his great grandchildren, Willem van der Meulen, Sarah van der Meulen, Jocelyn, Charlotte and Caroline Hamburger.
