He is survived by: his siblings, John Frederick Heaton, Sr. (Fran), Matthew Joseph Heaton, Dorothy Heaton Mattison (Craig) and Joy Heaton Martin (Mike).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan (4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Carrollton Cemetery No. (1701 Hillary St, New Orleans, LA 70118).
