He is survived by: his sister Rita May McNamara Bolen; and his sibling's children, Mary Kay Bolen Molbert (Tim) and Lieutenant Colonel Samuel (Retired). He is also survived by three great nephews and a great niece; and five great-great nieces and nephews.
