She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel O. Brooks Sr.; her son William Edward Brooks; her parents, Sidney Pierce Fatheree and Juanita Foreman Fatheree; and her brothers, Sidney Pierce Fatheree, Jr., Mansell Fatheree (Doc), George Fatheree and James Ray Fatheree.
She is survived by: her sons, Samuel O. Brooks Jr. and Gary Allen Brooks Sr. (Mary); her daughter-in-law Mary Spurlock Brooks; and her grandchildren, Gary Allen Brooks Jr., Lauren Michelle Brooks and William Robert "Billy" Brooks. She is also survived by great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
